Founded by Garima Bhadra, GB is a contemporary label shaped by the soul of Indian craftsmanship.
At its heart lies a quiet commitment—to preserve, celebrate, and reimagine the richness of Indian textiles, embroideries, and traditional techniques in every collection.
Founded with a deep reverence for traditional textiles, hand embroideries, and age-old techniques, GB is a celebration of Indian heritage where each piece is a tribute to the artisans behind the craft and the culture they carry forward.
At GB we believe that Indian fabrics and craft forms aren’t just heritage—they’re timeless, versatile, and deeply modern. GB exists to place them where they belong—at the centre of thoughtful, elevated design.
Rooted in tradition, reimagined for today.
Garima Bhadra
Born in Mumbai, Garima Bhadra found her creative voice at the intersection of tradition and innovation. A designer with a deep appreciation for textile heritage, Garima Bhadra refined her craft at Istituto Marangoni in Milan, graduating cum laude where she presented her graduation collection at Milan Fashion Week in 2022, marking an early milestone in her evolving journey.
Deeply connected to her roots, she draws inspiration for the first collection “there is no place like home” from her ancestral village in Kachchh, Gujarat—translating its rich cultural heritage and craft traditions into contemporary design narratives.
There is no place like home
When we first learn to draw, the picture that comes to mind is always the same — a house made of simple rectangles and triangles. A door, a window, a roof, maybe a tree beside it. It is instinctive, universal, and deeply human.
That house is more than a sketch. It is our first symbol of belonging, warmth, and safety. It is where stories begin, where families gather, and where traditions live on.
For us, that house stands in Kachchh, Gujarat, where our roots lie — a land where homes are built with earth and heart, where crafts are passed down through generations, and where every detail, from the embroidery on textiles to the rhythm of daily life, carries meaning.
It is in the village courtyards where cows rest at dusk, the mud houses painted with mirrors that catch the sunlight, the trees where families gather in the shade, and the camels that move slowly across the desert. It is in the sound of the wind through the fields, the turn of the windmills, the rhythm of crafts that have been alive for centuries.
We carry that essence of “home” into everything we create. Each piece of the collection is rooted in tradition, and reimagined for today — much like that first drawing, simple in form but infinite in meaning. Because no matter where we go, one truth stays with us:
“there is no place like home”
